To use the mg34 and the dp28 or the mg30cal as a turret requires modified weapons files added to the "yourmapname.pk3"

But first we must cover adding the weapons to your map.

we will start with the mg34.

In the 2d window right click and select misc -> Turret

press N to bring up the enity window.

add the following keys and values:

key: model 
value: xmodel/w_ge_lmg_mg34_bipod

key: weaponinfo 
value: mg34_stand_mp

Position the weapon as you like.

That's all there is for the map.

Now for the dp28.

In the 2d window right click and select misc -> Turret

press N to bring up the enity window.

add the following keys and values:

key: model 
value: xmodel/w_ru_lmg_dp28_turret

key: weaponinfo 
value: dp28_stand_mp 

Position the weapon as you like.

That's all there is to the map on this one too.

Now for the mg30cal

In the 2d window right click and select misc -> Turret

press N to bring up the enity window.

add the following keys and values:

key: model 
value: xmodel/w_us_lmg_30cal_bipod

key: weaponinfo 
value: mg30cal_stand_mp 

Position the weapon as you like.

That's all there is to the map on this one too.

Now we have to add the weapons files to your pk3.

Create a new folder in the same place as your maps, mp, levelshots folders.

Rename this folder "weapons" (no quotes)

In your new weapons folder create a new folder named  "mp" (no quotes)

This is where the modified weapons files go.

Or just copy the weapons folder that I have included (this way you don't have to create them yourself)

Now just add this new weapons folder with everything else when you create the new "yourmapname.pk3"

This way anyone who has your map also has the weapon files to make it work.
